A Groveland woman has been charged with burglary, drug possession and petit larceny after a resident noticed prescription drugs were vanishing from her home.
After she contacted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, investigators found evidence to suspect that 33-year-old Laura Adamson had been entering the house while the owner was away. Sheriff Tom Dougherty says they installed hidden surveillance cameras.
Within hours, the cameras caught Adamson entering the home and taking the drugs. She’s been arraigned in Groveland Court and is being held on $7,500 bail.
