High speed internet service provider Greenlight Networks has partnered with LeChase Construction to speed up its build-out to Rochester neighborhoods.
Greenlight, which was acquired last year by Tom Golisano, plans to expand to 230,000 new households and businesses over the next three years on the strength of the partnership.
Greenlight has been providing high speed fiber optic service for seven years in the Rochester area, but expansion has been slow because of the need to secure rights of way and the complexity of laying miles of fiber optic cable. The deal with LeChase will enable Greenlight to work on several sites at the same time, letting it double its service area next year.
