An 18-year-old Greece woman is recovering from a gunshot wound after being treated at Rochester General Hospital late Wednesday night.
Rochester Police say they were investigating a report of people congregating at Hudson Avenue and Avenue D, blocking traffic, when there were gunshots as the crowd was breaking up. Police say the young woman was taken to the hospital in a private car with a gunshot wound to her upper body.
Hudson Avenue has been reopened to traffic, and police are asking anyone with information about this shooting to call 911.
