The Town of Greece is implementing a program to help businesses regrow from the coronavirus pandemic. The GROW Greece program will make grants of up to $5,000 to qualifying businesses that are struggling to survive the loss of customers during the COVID-19 shutdown.
Greece Supervisor Bill Reilich says they want to keep critical business skills from leaving town.
An eligible business must employ five to 50 people, be doing business in the town for at least a year, and show a loss because of COVID-19. It can’t have any outstanding taxes and must be in compliance with town codes.
The fund has $100,000 available from the Federal Government and a team of management people will go over the applications that come into the town.
