The Greece Central School District board Tuesday night approved purchase of Yondr cellphone pouches. The devices will be used to secure student cellphones during class.
A district spokeswoman said the phones will be stored in the pouches and locked during times that students are supposed to be paying attention to class work. At least one school is already using the pouches.
