The Greece Central School District says it will use a mixed in school – home school plan when classes resume this fall because of COVID-19.
The district says, based on input from thousands of parents and staff members, that it will have most students in class two days a week. They’ll spend three days learning from home over the internet. Students will be divided into four groups, with Group One in school Mondays and Thursdays, Group Two in School Tuesdays and Fridays, Group Three in School Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and Group Four learning entirely online.
Group Three will include the district’s special education students and English language learners.
Teachers and staff will be at the schools each weekday. School buildings will be disinfected Wednesdays. The groups will be announced on July 31st.
