Greece Police have charged a Vintage Lane woman with her husband’s murder. A statement from the GPD Wednesday morning says the body of 72-year-old Rawleigh Andrews was found in the driveway at 549 Vintage lane at about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday. Andrews had been shot in the head.
Officers closed off Vintage lane and began interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence. They detained a person of interest at the scene and eventually charged 68-Year-old Mrs. Skavon Andrews with second degree murder. She was arraigned in Greece Town Court Wednesday morning and entered a not guilty plea. The couple had been married for more than 40 years, all of it spent on Vintage Lane.
Police have not released any information about what led up to the shooting. They say it remains an active investigation.
