Greece Supervisor Bill Reilich and other elected officials from along the South Shore of Lake Ontario have signed a letter, urging Governor Cuomo to officially request a disaster declaration because of the spring flooding.
Reilich says the letter thanks the governor for his assistance during the Lake Ontario flooding, including with National Guard troops. Now they say their residents need help and they need to explore every possible source of funding.
He was supported by Sodus Town Supervisor Steve LeRoy, Mayor Christ Tertinek from Sodus Village and others.
