Several events are planned for the 4th ofJuly.
Supervisor Bill Reilich would like to invite all to attend the Town of Greece Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration. The annual event takes place on July 4th and is open to the public.
As previously announced, the 5K Freedom Run will kick off the day’s festivities and lead into a day filled with family friendly activities, including the Scooby Stars and Stripes Fun Run, bouncy-houses, food trucks, the Library Book Mobile, musical performances, and concluding with a fireworks spectacular.
ADA compliant buses will be available at Greece Athena High School to transport people to the festivities, as there is no parking at the Greece Town Hall complex. Shuttles will begin departing at 4:30 PM and will run continuously throughout the evening until 11:30 PM. The full schedule can be found below:
The entative Schedule of Events is as follows:
7:30 AM   — 5K Race Begins
9 AM — Scooby Stars and Stripes Fun Run
4 PM – Children’s Activities Begin
6 to 7:30 PM – Opening Act Beatlemagic
8 PM – Our Featured performer “Micky Dolenz the Voice of the Monkees”
9:45 PM – Fire Works Display
Supervisor Reilich would like to remind all viewing the fireworks display to please bring lawn chairs or blankets.
