A 19-year-old Greece man is dead after reportedly being run over by a bulldozer in Hamlin. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says Gino Valle was working at Brightly Farms when the bulldozer somehow ran over him after he fell off it.
The bulldozer continued on across Redman Road until hit hit some gas lines, but there was no explosion. Valle was taken to Strong Health West in Brockport where he was pronounced dead. Both Monroe County deputies and OSHA are investigating what went wrong.
Captain Jeff DelGiudico says the accident has left the family that owns the farm distraught. Valle had been working at Brightly Farms for about six months. He was a 2016 graduate of Hilton High School.
