Rochester Police have charged a 31-year-old Greece man with first degree reckless endangerment as a result of an incident in the Genesee River Gorge on Sunday.
Donnell Wilson was charged after an incident in which police investigating a report of gunshots on Woodford Street were led to the Genesee Gorge north of downtown. They found Wilson stuck on the riverbank between the Bausch Street Bridge and Evergreen Street, and a police scuba team rescued him.
Police have not explained the connection between the gunshots and Wilson’s arrest. Nobody was injured as a result of gunfire.
