A Webster man who kidnapped his former girlfriend in Greece triggered a major police investigation that closed off a section of Lake Road in Webster this morning.
Greece Police say they went to an address on Flynn Road for a domestic disturbance call and found a suspect had allegedly forced the victim into a car and driven off. While they were investigating, the suspect identified as 22-year-old Albert Pelusio III dropped the woman off at a gas station in West Webster at about 2:00 a.m. She told police she had been punched in the face.
Greece Police, Webster Police and Monroe County Deputies searched for Pelusio, tracking him down to a house on Lake Road. They say he surrendered without incident.
Pelusio has been charged with kidnapping, burglary, criminal contempt, assault and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Greece Court and is being held on half-a-million dollars bail pending a court appearance on August 9th.
