The Town of Greece has joined communities that have canceled their July 4th fireworks and festivities. Town Supervisor BIll Reilich says the annual parade and fireworks are off, because the town couldn’t get guidance on allowable crowd size from the state.
Reilich says he’s disappointed, but the town waited as long as it could before finally having to decide to cancel the celebration. Reilich says the town will deliver a bigger and better celebration in 2021.
