Greece Police say an 18-year-old Hilton woman lost her life in last night’s fatal crash on Long Pond Road near Ridgeway Avenue.

They’ve identified her as Bryssa Polatas. She was a passenger in a car driven by 19-year-old Zachary Boyce of Greece, who was critically injured and is in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital. Two other passengers from Boyce’s car were also hurt but are expected to recover. The two people in the second car also suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police said last night the Boyce car was heading north on Long Pond about 7:40 Thursday night when it crossed the centerline for an unknown reason and crashed into a southbound car.

Bryssa Polatas (left in Photo) was a Hilton High School graduate. She was active in Hilton Parma Drug Intervention & Community Education, and was a youth delegate last spring at the  Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America’s 26th Annual National Leadership Forum in Washington.

Greece Police say the investigation is ongoing.
