Cuomo-State of State 2016Governor Cuomo’s office says a statewide crackdown on “synthetic marijuana” or K2 netted a Rochester man, charged with selling the drug and violating state tax law.

New York State Police raided the Loomis and Joseph Mart at 718 Joseph Avenue in Rochester. They seized more than 150 packets of suspected K2 and charged owner Mohammed Ghazanfar with sale of synthetic marijuana…and violating the Cigarette and Tobacco Tax law.

State authorities moved against stores selling K2 around the state after a mass overdose incident in New York City last week.
