Three Rochester men who ran to help while a Rochester police officer was being assaulted were honored Tuesday night by the City of Rochester.
Mayor Lovely Warren and City Council recognized Ramique Hill, Matt Ochs and Lydell Weatherspoon for their bravery. All three came to the aid of Officer Denny Wright when he was stabbed while investigating a domestic incident on Peck Street.
The suspect, Keith Williams, has been charged with aggravated attempted murder.
