The Al Sigl Center and the Golisano Foundation plan to announce tomorrow (Tues.) that the new Golisano Autism Center will be built in Rochester.
Details will be announced in a press conference on the Al Sigl campus in Rochester. Officials of the agency, the Golisano Foundation and the support group AutismUp will announce a major gift from the Golisano Foundation. It will serve to kick off fundraising for development of the center to expand and enhance autism services in the Greater Rochester and surrounding areas.
Some 10,000 autistic individuals live in the Rochester area.
