The Monroe County Parks Department says golf carts will be available again to people with disabilities at the county’s public golf courses.
The county reopened Durand Eastman, Genesee Valley and Churchville parks on April 24th in line with Governor Cuomo’s executive order. At that time, no carts were allowed for social distancing. Now that regulation is amended to allow individuals who can’t play without carts to rent them.
The price of a rental is a handicap parking permit, license plate or doctor’s note on official letterhead.
Carts will be available beginning May 14th.
