The youngest son of Rochester business couple Larry and Jane Glazer has filed a wrongful death suit against a couple of aviation companies. They made the airplane his father was piloting when it crashed off the coast of Jamaica two years ago.

Socata S.A.S made the TBM 900 turboprop and Liebherr-Aerospace S.A.S. made the cabin pressurization system. Investigators believe the plane gradually lost cabin pressure and the Glazers lost consciousness without realizing what was wrong. The plane continued on autopilot until it ran out of fuel and fell into the sea.

The “Democrat and Chronicle” says it found the lawsuit was filed August 30th. It alleges the pressurization system was faulty and some of the companies involved in building the plane knew it. It doesn’t specify what that flaw might have been.
