The 21-year-old Rochester woman accused of making a terroristic threat against East High School will be returned to the Monroe County Jail from federal custody, after appearing in City Court this morning. She’ll be back in court on March 15th.

Abigail Hernandez is accused of posting a threat from an anonymous Facebook account last week to shoot students at East. Moving her to the county jail will allow her family to see her.

Hernandez is accused in court documents of making the threat under the name “Martin Doll” from her mobile phone. Her parents, who are living in the U.S. under Green Cards, brought her to Rochester from Mexico as a child. She counts as a “Dreamer” under the DACA program.

Hernandez’s parents say she has low cognitive ability, is a special education student at Edison Tech, and is incapable of finding her own way to school. They say there’s no way she could have created a fake Facebook account or posted the threat which led to her arrest.
