Police in the City of Geneva say they were called Sunday to investigate the discovery of vandalism and racist graffiti left at the West Street Elementary School.

A window and flood light were smashed and “bring the Nazis Back” was carved into a playground set. Swastikas and racial slurs were also left behind.

Police spent the day searching for surveillance camera video and canvassing the neighborhood around the school, as well as reviewing the school’s own surveillance video. The images were removed.

Police say they will not tolerate hateful and racist acts such as this.
