Geneva Police are investigating after a bomb threat was found written on a bathroom wall at the Geneva School District’s Carter Road Complex.
Police did a sweep of the area with K9 units, assisted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, state and federal authorities.
The district posted a notice on its website saying the bomb threat was found Thursday afternoon. Students were dismissed for the day as a precautionary measure and to facilitate the search. All after school activities for the Geneva Middle and High School were canceled.
All adult and student bags were searched on Friday.
