Gates Police have charged a Rochester man with second degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he stabbed another man on Chili Avenue.
Forty-one year old David Morris is accused of stabbing the other man in the neck during a dispute in a parking lot. Police say both men admitted to having a previous fight in the city and Morris stabbed the victim after running into him by chance in Gates.
Morris is being held without bail as a predicate felon.
