A Gates man who was convicted of trying to lure a minor online has been sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 10 years on supervised release.
Federal prosecutors say Dillon Boyington, 35, tried to use a social media application to arrange a sexual tryst with a 14-year-old girl. He was arrested by state police last fall as he traveled in an attempt to meet the child. He was convicted of attempted online enticement of a minor.
