Gasoline prices continue to fall, but the AAA says December gas prices are still the highest they’ve been in three years.
The New York State Average is now $2.65 a gallon, down two cents from last week. The Rochester region average is $2.56, down three cents. Buffalo averages $2.64, down a penny; and Syracuse is down three cents at $2.54.
The AAA says weak demand this fall is holding down prices on gasoline as refineries got back to full production after the hurricane season.
