Gasoline prices dipped by a penny last week in the Rochester and Buffalo areas, and by two cents in Syracuse.
Prices have been dropping gradually since Colonial Pipeline went back into service after an explosion in Alabama at the beginning of the month.
The Rochester average price works out to $2.32 per gallon, which is four cents less than the statewide average.
The AAA says it expects prices will keep dropping through the end of the year. The auto club says Americans have saved a collective $28 billion at the pumps this year over 2015.
