The U.S. supply of crude oil is on the rise and the average price of gasoline is on the decline.
The AAA says the New York State average price of $2.98 per gallon is down two cents from last week. The Rochester average is down a penny at $2.94, Buffalo is down a cent at $2.99 and Syracuse is down by two cents at $2.90 per gallon.
We still haven’t seen the larger drop in prices that usually comes in the fall. The auto club blames that on rising oil prices and tensions with Iran. An increase in domestic crude oil supply has offset international tensions and prevented any price increase this week.
