Gasoline prices are dropping slowly across the nation and in the Rochester area.
The national average price is down four cents a gallon from a week ago. The Greater Rochester average is down two cents at $2.94. The New York State average is $3.00 even, down a penny over the last week.
In Buffalo, the price is unchanged at $3.00 and the Syracuse price of $2.90 is down by two cents.
Gasoline export demand dropped over the last week, causing domestic prices to drop as well. The forecast is for continued relief at the pump.
