Gasoline prices continue their slow decline across Upstate New York, attributed to a slight drop in demand.
The AAA says the statewide average price for a gallon of unleaded regular is down a penny at $2.72. The average across the Rochester region is likewise down a cent at $2.67. Buffalo is at the same price, also down a cent, and Syracuse is down three cents at $2.65.
AAA says gasoline demand is down nationally, according to the Energy Information Administration. Both the nation’s gasoline supply and gasoline exports are up, holding the line on prices.
