Gasoline demand is up according to the AAA and supplies are down. That means only one thing: rising gas prices.
The national average is up by eight cents from last week at $2.40 per gallon. The five-county Rochester regional average is now up seven cents at $2.48, Buffalo is unchanged from last week at 42.50, and Syracuse is up by a dime at $2.46 a gallon.
That’s still better than a year ago when the national average price was $2.52.
