The national average gasoline price is still rising, but Rochester’s regional price leveled off last week.
The AAA says the national average is up three cents to $2.43 a gallon. The Rochester average is unchanged at $2.48, Buffalo is unchanged at $2.50 and Syracuse is up a penny per gallon at $2.47.
The Auto Club says rising crude oil prices are slowly pushing up on gas pump prices. Refineries are also gearing up for summer blend gas which reduces the supply temporarily.
