Gasoline prices have begun to inch up nationally, but much of Upstate New York isn’t following along.
The AAA says The national average for a gallon of unleaded regular is now $2.16…and the statewide average is $2.30 a gallon.
Rochester prices are unchanged at $2.24, and it can be found for less. Buffalo actually went down a cent to an average of $2.27 and Syracuse went up by four cents to $2.16.
After dropping or holding steady most of the summer, oil prices have been bouncing up and down over the past week. That affects gas pump prices as well.
