The American Automobile Association says the price of regular, unleaded gas is still dropping in the Rochester region although it’s gone up over the past week in Central New York.
This could be the tipping point for the minor price drop after the holidays, when gasoline demand dropped off.
AAA says the state average is $2.47 a gallon. The Rochester price fell by a penny last week to $2.38 a gallon. Buffalo is down a cent at $2.43 and Syracuse was up by three cents at $2.35.
