Developers met with North Greece residents Thursday night over the future of the former Hotel DeMay on Latta Road and North Greece Road.

The hotel and tavern was built in 1909 and ran as a hotel or restaurant under several different owner. It closed in 2000 after the last of the former owners died and has been deteriorating since then.

New developers want to knock it down and build a Crosby’s gas station with a drive-through donut shop on the corner. The town will have to rezone the land before that can happen.

The developers laid out their plans and said they want to work with neighbors on their concerns.  The building has a long history in Greece, but it’s not designated as an historic landmark.
