Lightning 1The National Weather Service is telling us to keep watching the skies on Saturday from Syracuse to Buffalo.

The weather should be quiet tonight…but tomorrow the entire Rochester region is under the threat of potentially severe thunderstorms, particularly during the afternoon and evening. The weather service says they’re likely to come in two waves as a strong cold front approaches; one before 2:00 p.m. and another after 4:00 p.m.

They say strong winds will be the major problem, but there’s potential for large hail and tornadoes as well.
