Former Greece Police Chief Drew Forsythe reported to Town Court Thursday, expecting to be arraigned on charges of DWI and leaving the scene of his October 21st crash on Route 390. Instead, his case will have to be moved to another court after all three Greece Town Justices recused themselves.

District Attorney Sandra Doorley agreed with the judges’ decisions and said it’s better to have a judge from another town handle the case.

The former chief crashed his department SUV after having six alcoholic drinks over a two hour period at a downtown Rochester bar. That’s according to an investigation by the DA’s Office.
