A 42-year-old former employee of the Webster Central School District has been charged with multiple counts of rape.
The school district and Webster Police haven’t released details of what happened, but they’ve charged Kali Watkins with first and second degree rape. Watkins was a special education teacher and coach at Webster Schroeder High School from 2006 until he was fired in December of 2017. He held various posts during that time including varsity football coach and JV girls basketball coach.
Police say they began an investigation at the time of his firing, after they were notified of a sexual abuse disclosure from a teenager.
