A former church finance manager who was found guilty of embezzling more than $241,000 from St. Monica’s Church in Rochester has been sentenced to one-and-a-third to four years in state prison.
Marlo Santini was also ordered to pay back the money she stole while working for the Genesee Street church between July of 2008 and June of 2013. The 44-year-old woman was caught when the Roman Catholic Parish hired an outside accounting firm to review their books.
