A former Postal Service worker has pleaded guilty to charges of stealing from the post office while working as a Relief Postmaster in Sodus Point.
Federal prosecutors say 26-year-old Jennifer Passeck pleaded guilty to “theft of public money.” She could face up to ten years in prison.
Prosecutors say Passeck was working in the Sodus Point Post Office from March of 2013 to March of 2015. They say during that time she stole post office box rental payments and other revenues, and issued herself money orders worth more than $19,000.
She was caught by Postal Service investigators.
