A Henrietta pastor who had a first career as an MMA fighter is facing charges of inappropriately touching women.
Former Victory Church Pastor Paul Burress was arrested last week by Monroe County sheriff’s deputies after two women claimed he’d forcibly touched them.
A woman told Rochester’s Radio 95.1 Ditullio and Moran show that Burress made advances on her during a mission trip to Jamaica earlier this year. She said she later met with other women who had similar experiences. She said Burress showed up at her workplace after she quit the church asking her not to say anything.
A member of the church’s leadership told 13 WHAM that Burress resigned for unknown reasons in July.
The former pastor will answer the misdemeanor charges next Tuesday.
