Timothy Granison, the estranged husband of former Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren, was found guilty Wednesday of endangering the welfare of a child.
Granison was found not guilty of the companion charge, criminal possession of a weapon. He was found guilty of failing to secure a firearm found in his home where his young daughter was home alone.
Police raided the home more than a year ago in connection with a drug investigation. They found a long gun and an illegal handgun.
Granison pleaded guilty earlier this year to intent to distribute cocaine. He will be sentenced in September.
