The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office confirms it’s working with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office on an investigation into former State Supreme Court Justice Matthew Rosenbaum
Rosenbaum suddenly quit his office last year. A lawsuit filed against him last week in federal court by a former staffer alleges he forced her to perform sex acts on him in his judicial chambers. It also accuses state officials of ignoring her complaints.
The sheriff’s office says in a statement that it began an investigation into Rosenbaum “and we are currently working with the Monroe County District Attorney to complete this in-depth process. The investigation is ongoing, which limits our ability to comment any further.”
