The former owner of Jackson Guns and Ammo and two of his employees have pleaded “not guilty” to violating the New York SAFE Act.
Kordell Jackson was a licensed gun dealer who ran Jackson Guns and Ammo in Henrietta. He was charged along with Ken Youngren and Joshua Perkins of selling semi-automatic rifles with features that were outlawed under the act, which classified them as assault rifles.
A complaint filed by the State Attorney General’s Office says Jackson and his employees sold more than 100 firearms that violated the act.
