New York State Police and the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office say a former Geneseo police officer has been arrested for sexual misconduct on the job.

Kristofor O’Rourke, 29, was arrested because of an incident that occurred when he was on-duty earlier this year. He allegedly stopped a woman in Geneseo on July 1 on charges of aggravated drunken driving, then later had improper sexual relations with her. The charges filed against him say O’Rourke had oral sex with the woman, threatening to take her to jail if she didn’t comply. He’s been charged with a third-degree felony criminal sexual act as well as official misconduct.

He was arraigned Monday night and pleaded not guilty to the felony charge. He was released on his own recognizance.
