A former East High School basketball coach has been accused by Rochester Police and the FBI of sending pornographic images to a 15-year-old.
The RPD says 35-year-old Matthew Gouveia of Webster has been charged with seven counts of disseminating indecent material to minors and with endangering the welfare of a child. He’s been arraigned in City Court.
Police say Gouveia allegedly did this at the time he was working for the City School District at East High. They’re asking anyone who may have had inappropriate contact with him to come forward by contacting 911.
