For the second time this week, a pedestrian has been hit on Lake Avenue in Rochester.
Police say it happened in the same area as Monday’s fatal collision between a man crossing the street and a motorcycle, and at nearly the same time of day. But this time, the pedestrian was panhandling in the street when he was hit by a southbound car.
The 50-year-old male victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to recover. No tickets were issued.
