Webster Police have charged a three-time felon with first degree robbery for a gas station holdup that set off yesterday morning’s police chase across Webster and Irondequoit.
Robert Buck of Williamson is charged with the knifepoint robbery of a Webster gas station. Police say he was driving the SUV that fled when spotted by Webster’s police chief at another gas station. The chase ended with the 41-year-old man crashing the SUV on Empire Boulevard at the Route 590 ramps.
Buck was charged after being treated for his injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital. He’s being held without bail as a parole violator.
