The sound of gunfire spread fear on North Clinton Avenue in Rochester on Wednesday. Just hours after a triple shooting early Wednesday morning that left two men dead, police were called back to the same block for a second shooting that sent two men to the hospital with critical injuries.
Both shootings took place near the International Plaza. In the first one man was found dead at the scene, and the second died that afternoon in the hospital. The third man is recovering.
In the second shooting, two men ages 30 and 72 were hit and seriously injured.
Police identified the two dead men in the morning shooting as 19-year-old Richard Collinge, and 25-year-old Myjel Rand.
No arrests have been made yet in either case.
