Gates police arrested five people on misdemeanor trespassing charges after they were caught inside the abandoned Brooks Avenue Holiday Inn near the airport.
YouTube and TikTok have both carried social media video posts from people who have entered and explored the abandoned hotel. But police warn it’s illegal, regardless of your intentions, and they will arrest anyone they catch doing it.
The property is fenced and gated off.
