
Police in Geneva have charged a 35-year-old man with menacing a peace officer after he aimed a long gun at firefighters who were trying to put out a blaze at the rear of his house.
It happened shortly after 5:00 this morning on Reed Street in Geneva. Police there say Joseph Tracey of 73 Reed Street was arrested and is being held on $25,000 bail. Police and fire investigators are looking at how the fire started.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
